China approves postponement of celebration of World War II end day - Anatoly Koskin

The change in the date of the end of World War II in the Russian Federation from 2 to 3 September was commented upon in both Japan and China, countries that had fought each other for virtually 14 years, beginning with the capture in 1931 by the Japanese occupiers of the North-Eastern Provinces of China (Manchuria). Since July 1937, the Japanese launched a full-scale aggression to acquire the territory of all China. The persistent resistance to this aggression, according to various reports, cost the Chinese people between 30 and 35 million lives.
