Iran's largest energy exhibition to be held in Kabul

On September 22, the first exhibition of Iranian technical and engineering services in the field of water, electricity and energy will open in the capital of Afghanistan, an official representative of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade said. This was reported by the Iranian agency Mehr News. The head of the Trade Facilitation Organization of Iran (TPOI) and Deputy Minister of Industry Hamid Zadboom announced the importance of developing Iranian trade relations in the region, as well as expanding non-oil exports. The opening ceremony of the specialized exhibition will be held in Kabul in the presence of officials and businessmen of both countries, he said. According to Zadbum, 100 Iranian companies plan to introduce their capabilities in related fields in order to develop the export of technical and engineering services to Afghanistan. He further said that a delegation of Iranian businessmen in the field of energy and utilities of 120 people will hold fruitful negotiations with the Afghan side during their four-day stay in Afghanistan.
