Four people who were looking for treasures died in Greece

Four men, aged between 34 and 50, died while searching for treasure in a cave located beneath the town of Lutraki in Greece. This is reported on May 16 by the local edition of the Loutraki365. It is reported that the bodies of four dead men were found in a cave under the city, reported to the local police by a woman who, as it turned out later, was the wife of one of the dead. The cause of death is still unknown, according to the publication and specifies that the most likely scenario studied by the local authority was that treasure seekers died during an attempt to use an explosive device, as some of the dead held wires in their hands. At the same time, it is noted that later firefighters lifted the bodies of the dead from the cave and 21 people and five cars took part in this operation. It should be noted, according to the news agency, earlier it became known that four people died of COVID-19 in Greece during the past 24 hours, as well as 40 new cases of coronavirus infection.
