Indonesia joins COVID-19 vaccine testing program


Indonesia has joined the global COVID-19 vaccine testing programme coordinated by the World Health Organization (WHO), Antara reports. Typically, the process of developing a vaccine takes about a dozen years, while it took researchers roughly four years to create an Ebola vaccine. According to WHO, there are currently about 120 vaccines against COVID-19 offered by different countries around the world. Yet only six of them have undergone clinical trials.
