In Armenia, the state of emergency will be replaced by quarantine. The corresponding bill at the extraordinary session on September 4 was supported by the country's parliament, the press service of the National Assembly of Armenia reports. The control of the coronavirus epidemic from September 12 will be carried out by declaring a quarantine, which can be set for up to six months. With an epidemiological threat throughout the republic, the decision on quarantine will be made by the government, in the territory of certain regions of Armenia, local authorities. Previously introduced fines for violation of epidemiological requirements in Armenia at the same time remain. So, for going outside without a mask, a fine of ten thousand drams is provided (about one and a half thousand rubles). The same amount of fine will be imposed for obstructing the inspection of the car by law enforcement officials. For violation of epidemiological requirements during mass events, the amount of the fine ranges from 50 to 200 thousand drams (from 7,500 to 30,000 rubles). The same amount of fine is provided for violation of the self-isolation regime. The maximum fine will be imposed on the enterprise for continuing work if an outbreak of coronavirus is recorded on the territory of the enterprise. In the case of an initial violation, the amount of the fine will be from 100 to 300 thousand drams (or from 15,000 to 45,000 rubles). The repetition of such a violation will entail a fine in the amount of 150 to 500 thousand drams (or from 22,500 to 75,000 rubles). As of September 5, 44,649 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Armenia.
