In Rada categorically denied the possibility of water supplies to Crimea

The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights categorically does not support the idea of resuming water supplies to Crimea, Chairman of the Kherson Regional Administration Yuri Gusev said on February 12 on his page on the social network Facebook. Representatives of the committee held a retreat in Kherson region, the official said. Representatives of the committee expressed a clear position on the inadmissibility of considering the issue of water supply to Crimea, he wrote. Earlier, Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Chairman of the Political Council of the Opposition Platform For Life Party Victor Medvedev said that the authorities of Ukraine themselves are interested in supplying water to Crimea, as the current situation leads to dehydration of the territory of Kherson region and damage of agricultural land. According to the news agency, earlier the deputy from the faction Servant of the People Yuri Kamelchuk said that Ukraine should resume water supplies to Crimea, because otherwise it will not want to return to itself this desert.
