Central Bank of Uzbekistan urged to disinfect bank cards

Akmal Nazarov, Deputy Director of the Department of Public Relations and Communications Policy of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, called for the disinfection of the bank card after each use, speaking at a briefing. According to him, plastic cards should not be cleaned with solvents, acetone, alcohol and other similar substances that can damage microchip, card number and other data. Nazarov called for disinfection of cards with simple antiseptics. According to the news agency, as of April 23, 1,716 cases of coronavirus infection had been identified in Uzbekistan. 450 people recovered, seven patients died.
