Japan provides Macedonia with €8 million to support business in pandemic
Since April 29, all micro-enterprises, as well as small and medium-sized businesses in Northern Macedonia will be able to apply for interest-free credit through Kovid 2. According to Albanian news agency Telegrafi Maqedoni, such measures to support business in the country made it possible for Japan to provide an interest-free loan worth 8 million euros to Northern Macedonia. Currently, credit to businesses with coronavirus losses is provided through Kovid 1. The minimum amount of credit on both lines is 3 thousand euros. The maximum amount of credit in the second line is twice higher than in the first line it will be 90 thousand euros. As the Minister of Finance of Northern Macedonia Nina Angelovsk stressed, the purpose of these support measures is to preserve the workers revenge liquidity of enterprises.
