Firing of APU damaged the feeding Alchev Metcombinator of the power plant in the LPR

The high-voltage line VL-220 kV Mikhail Communarskaya, feeding the Alchev Metallurgical Plant in the LPR, suffered damage as a result of shelling by the APU, the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of the Ceasefire reported on May 16. The APU attack was carried out from the direction of the village BMP-2 Novotoshkovsky from the weapons of Moscow. The plant moved to a backup power supply line as a result. As previously reported by the news agency, the shelling of APU on May 14 in the village of Beryozovsky in the LPR damaged residential buildings. On 15 May, Ukrainian forces fired at OSBE observers who had arrived to inspect the sites of destruction in Beryozovsky.
