Number of coronavirus infections in South Africa exceeded 18,000

In the Republic of South Africa, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection increased by 803 per day and by the evening of May 20 already exceeds 18,000, South African Health Minister Zweli Mhize said on Twitter. According to the Minister, at present the number of infections in South Africa is 18,003, 339 people were killed, 8,950 patients are considered cured.
