US authorities want to direct $1 trillion to restore infrastructure
About $1 trillion is planned to be allocated by the administration of US President Donald Trump for the restoration of the country's infrastructure. It is reported by Bloomberg, citing sources. The aid package is being developed by the US Department of Transportation. The funds will primarily go to the functioning of communication routes and bridges, as well as to provide fifth-generation mobile communications 5G and broadband Internet in rural areas of the United States. Earlier, Trump proposed to direct $2 trillion for these purposes. According to the agency, it is possible to include funds for the restoration of infrastructure in the next package of assistance to the economy affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Another option provides for a separate bill to allocate funds.
