Hurricane Isaias reaches the east coast of the United States


Hurricane Isaias on the evening of August 3 hit the coast of North Carolina, USA. This follows from data published by the US National Hurricane Prevention Center (NHC). It is noted that the hurricane is currently located about 65 kilometers southwest of the city of Wilmington (North Carolina) and moves to the northeast at a speed of 9.7 m/s. The wind speed within its limits reaches 38 m/s. According to the news agency, before reaching the east coast of the United States on the night of August 4, tropical storm Isaias gained the strength of a hurricane. Storm warnings due to the approach of the hurricane were previously announced in the states of North and South Carolina, and in New York.
